   The WaveFormer CardBus tool provides a simple, inexpensive graphical interface to configure the channel characteristics of the Pocket Watch receiver. The application can be opened with any version of Microsoft Excel 2000 or later.  An immediate splash screen allows the user to select a specific Pocket Watch model number that will tailor the configuration options presented in the workbook to the hardware features of the model selected.

   Waveformer automates the process of setting register values based on the desired performance characteristics of the receiver.  The user enters configuration information through a series of menu-driven spreadsheets that accept input based on available register options.  The spreadsheet also performs error checking to eliminate configuration conflicts and graphically display key performance parameters in simple block diagrams and frequency response plots.  The configuration tool generates a C++ header file containing register values for the complete memory map.  These values are uploaded to the card from a single software command supplied with the drivers.
